As you can tell by the above pictures my son doesn't play with toys. He pretty much wakes up each day asking us "what are we doing, where are we going???" Hmmm, yes he is his fathers son and doesn't handle boredom well.

Highlights from fall 2010
A constant mantra at our house is "mommy can we paint." Im unafraid of a mess which has its major down sides, but also makes for fun art sessions when your 2. And of course there is nothing like painting in your football undies.
We hope Jacob is aspiring to be like his great grandmother 'Nina,' who is actually an artist.
My kitchen table will never recover from the art that has happened on top of it. water based paint is some what relative.
The majority of our fall was taken up with football (come on people isn't that what your supposed to do in the fall)!! Charles has coached allot of different sports and allot of different team but the Bellevue Steelers youth football has been our fav. He coached 7 and 8 year olds this year which was particularly fun for Jacob. The chant "who are we... STEELERS!" could be heard ringing through out our house all fall. When your 2 you can learn all sorts of great things from big football boys like the word STUPID. Yes, we have been in time out quite a bit from that one. Thanks boys.
Another favorite activity in the Edwards house is cooking! Daddy is the best person to cook with. In our house we believe in wearing safety goggles when you wash potatoes with your spider man wash cloth. :)

Lets go PEAY!
I figured since I didn't blog any about our fall I would catch the world up a bit.
One of the big highlights this fall was our good friend, and past club kid Corey came all the way from New Mexico to play soccer at Austin Peay, a nearby University. To say the least we were way excited to see her and watch her play!!!
At the beginning of the game the players threw balls into the crowd and Jacob got a 'Corey Ball.' as he calls it.
Of course we painted up for our girl! Go 18!
Jacob went up to Charles and said, "daddy take a picture of my shirt!"
As you can imagine everyone connected to Austin Peay soccer now knows us. Corey had the only fans with painted shirts. Everyone thought we drove from NM to see her. That would be hard core, but no.
Jacob got to run on the field and by the second game we went to he pretty much knew the whole team and thought he owned the field. Jacob is going to play soccer this spring like his buddie Corey, we are very excited!

Snow Day in December!
Does any one think its funny like me that my blog goes from slippin slide to snow?? Terrible that I haven't blogged in so long but such is life in all of its busyness.
So today we had a wonderful snow day in December (very rarely happens around here). I kid you not when I woke up this morning it was 15 degrees with a wind chill of -1. CRAZY! By the time Jacob and I went outside I think it was a little warmer (I hope).
Its cold but FUN!
Check out mommy's snow angel, pretty good! Apparently snow angels turn out good when you haven't mowed your lawn in a decade. :)
Jacob's snow angel... notice the rain boot. We discovered they double as snow boots well with a few extra pairs of socks!
Drinkin some hot chocolate after the snow. With two bog marshmellows of course!
