We decided to start a blog for all our out-of-town friends and family. This will probably be boring to most but for those who are intersted we want to keep you up on whats happening with Jacob and the rest of our fam.
So far so good for the most part. Jacob as of a week ago weighed 5lbs 10 ounces... almost a full pound over birth weight (he weighed 4lbs 11 ounces at birth), not exactly chubby but we are working on it! Charles and I are not getting any sleep at all... I had no idea babies could be so awake at night. Apparently Jacob is nocternal. We've added a slide show of Jacob's first two weeks for everyone who has not seen pics yet.
Equipment
Figure it out for yourself, my lad,
You've all that the greatest of men have had,
Two arms, two hands, two legs, two eyes
And a brain to use if you would be wise.
With this equipment they all began,
So start for the top and say, "I can."

They take their food from a common plate,

Courage must come from the soul within,
